Dr. David Chambers: Editor of the Journal of the American College of Dentists and Professor at the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Dr. Eric K. Curtis, CDE: Emeritus Editor of Inscriptions, the journal of the Arizona Dental Association. He is a Past AADE President, an author of four books and more than 400 articles. Dr. Curtis has an MA in English and teaches English at Eastern Arizona College.

Mary Hausch: Associate Professor at the Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies in Las Vegas. Ms. Hausch has 21 years experience in the newspaper industry including 11 years as Managing Editor of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Dr. Daniel A. Stout: Professor and Director of the Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies in Las Vegas. Dr. Stout teaches advertising and was Manager of Special Advertising Projects at the Houston Chronicle. He was head of the Advertising Division of the Association of Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC).      

Speaking at the annual luncheon will be John L. Smith on the topic “Chasing Bugsy’s Ghost: Covering the Mob in Las Vegas”. Mr. Smith is a daily columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper and is an author of 13 books. In 2010. Mr. Smith received the “Silver Pen” Award from the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame.   

Back this year by popular demand! There will be special separate breakout sessions for both Dental Editors and Managing Dental Editors and Staff. The moderators will be Dr. Dan Jenkins for Dental Editors and Patty Reyes for Managing Dental Editors and Staff.  

The annual ADA Leadership Panel Presentation will feature ADA President Dr. Raymond Gist and ADA Executive Director Dr. Kathleen T. O’Loughlin.
